The outdoors is where we feel our best—where we explore, recharge, and come up with our boldest ideas. It’s our playground and our laboratory. Being outside makes us happier, healthier, and more connected.

But right now, the places that make all of this possible—our parks and public lands—are under threat. Special interest groups are pushing to strip away protections, opening the door to development.  That means fewer parks, trails, and natural spaces for all of us.  

We can’t afford to let public lands be exploited for short-term gain. These spaces are our shared legacy—where we gather with loved ones, recharge, and create lasting memories. Without strong protections, access to these spaces could disappear.

Congress is considering the bipartisan Public Lands in Public Hands Act, which would prevent the sale or transfer of most federal public lands and ensure they remain open for all. We need your voice.

Together, we can prevent the sale of our public lands to the highest bidder. Urge Congress to pass this critical legislation to keep public lands in public hands!

RE: Keep Public Lands in Public Hands

I am writing to express my deep concern over ongoing efforts to transfer public lands out of federal protection. Our public lands, including national forests, parks, and open spaces, are meant to be enjoyed by everyone. If protections are stripped away, they could be sold, developed, or closed to the public.
