Take Action

Act Now to Protect Public Lands

Our public land and green spaces are invaluable treasures. In its first term, the Trump administration significantly rolled back public land protections and threatened to open cherished spaces to drilling, mining, and industrial use.

With threats to conservation funding and access on the horizon, we must ensure these irreplaceable lands remain safe, open, and accessible to all. Your letter to Congress will help secure essential protections for parks, green spaces, and natural habitats nationwide.

By taking action, you will receive important updates about our work and how you can help Trust for Public Land protect public land and parks for people.

RE: Defend Our Public Land

To

I'm writing to express my deep support for protecting public land as you begin your work in this new session of congress. Parks, trails, and accessible public land are part of what makes life in our state so great. Yet across the country, we're seeing that dwindling protection efforts are putting green spaces at risk. Once these lands are developed, they're gone forever, and the loss will ripple across generations.

I hope you will work to preserve our national monuments and protect our public land by keeping them safe from drilling and mining. I also urge you to ensure that people across our state have equal access to outdoor spaces by safeguarding the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership and keeping the Land and Water Conservation Fund fully funded.

Thank you for safeguarding the natural heritage of our state and country.

Sincerely,
