Take Action

Expand Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument

Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument’s breathtaking scenic vistas extend from sea level to the northwestern mountain wilderness of California. Expanding the monument will preserve archeological sites, the health of lush forests, and rare habitat for threatened and endangered species such as northern spotted owls.

Please help secure this biodiverse land by sending a letter to the Biden administration now.

By taking action, you will receive important updates about our work and how you can help Trust for Public Land protect public land and parks for people.

RE: Expand Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument

Dear President Biden,

As an avid supporter of the outdoors, I urge you to use your authority under the Antiquities Act to expand Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument by adding the 3,925-acre Walker Ridge tract. Expanding the national monument will preserve archeological sites, the health of lush forests, and rare habitat for threatened and endangered species such as northern spotted owls. As you work to protect 30 percent of America's lands and waters by 2030, I ask you to include this addition to Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument as a part of that promise. We look to you, as our president, to protect our country's extraordinary places. This incredible landscape is no exception.

Sincerely,
