Take Action

Urge your senators to cosponsor S. 683!

Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument’s breathtaking scenic vistas extend from sea level to the northwestern mountain wilderness of California. In spring, fields of wildflowers paint the landscape and make it the perfect destination for hikers and mountain bikers to explore.

Today, we are working to expand the national monument by 3,925 acres by adding the Walker Ridge tract. The expansion will protect land sacred to the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation as well as vital habitat for plants and wildlife.

Call on your senators to preserve this remarkable landscape by cosponsoring the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument Expansion Act (S. 683) today!

By taking action, you will receive important updates about our work and how you can help Trust for Public Land protect public land and parks for people.

RE: Expand Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument

To [Senator],

As an avid supporter of the outdoors and your constituent, I urge you to expand Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument by cosponsoring S. 683. Expanding the national monument will preserve archeological sites, the health of lush forests, and rare habitat for threatened and endangered species such as northern spotted owls. Your constituents look to you to protect our country's most special places - and this incredible landscape is no exception.

Sincerely,
