Take Action

Protect America's wildlife today

One-third of the wildlife species in America are at risk of becoming threatened or endangered.

Unfortunately, Congress failed to pass the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act (RAWA) last year, which means states continue to lack the funding needed to protect wildlife.

The Senate is considering taking up the bill again this legislative session—but there’s no guarantee wildlife will be prioritized.

We must do everything possible to see the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act signed into law, which will protect critical habitat for more than 12,000 species across the country.

Please take action now and urge your Senators to reconsider this urgent legislation today!

By taking action, you will receive important updates about our work and how you can help Trust for Public Land protect public land and parks for people.

RE: Protect America's wildlife

To [Member of Congress],

As an avid supporter of the outdoors and your constituent, I urge you to take up RAWA - the Recovering America's Wildlife Act - again this legislative session. With one-third of the wildlife species in America at risk of becoming threatened or endangered, we must take measures now to protect them.

The bill will direct $1.3 billion of existing revenue annually to state-led conservation efforts, as well as $97.5 million to tribal-led wildlife conservation plans. This would be the most significant investment in wildlife conservation in a generation. RAWA will not only provide the resources needed to help more than 12,000 at-risk species from reaching the threatened or endangered designations but would also create jobs and increase access to the outdoors.

Please act to protect our country's wildlife by supporting RAWA today.

Sincerely,
